The purity of materials, the sobriety of colors, the classicism of the pattern... all contribute to the charm of this piece with a rich family history.
It took me some time to source this certified organic greased leather, and its purity seemed ideal for highlighting these sentimental remnants: my wedding dress (which was my mother's before) and upholstery fabric left over from a project I did for my mother upon her request.
I don't use clutch bags myself, but this pattern with its harmonious proportions and beautiful curves inspired me to explore this path, especially since it allows me to repurpose relatively small fabric scraps while remaining entirely functional.
