“Oiseau Suédois”  CO-020

A flap clutch sewn in caramel leather, white damask, and vintage beige and gray patterned fabric, lined with taupe canvas.

"Intuitions" Range / Theme Whimsy Romantic. The purity of materials, the sobriety of colors... add charm to this practical and chic small clutch.

Its story

This piece was crafted using an insert taken from the remnants of the cushions in my eldest son's bedroom when he was little, beautiful certified organic cotton satin, and a piece of lamb leather.

I don't use clutch bags myself, but this pattern with its harmonious proportions and beautiful curves inspired me to explore this path, especially since it allows me to repurpose relatively small fabric scraps while remaining entirely functional.

Common questions

How long does it take for a custom piece?

The time it takes will greatly depend on the complexity of your request, the availability of components, and my schedule, which varies depending on the time of year. On average, expect between 4 and 10 weeks. The quote I provide will contain an accurate estimate of the timeline, and I commit to responding as accurately as possible to your requests, while respecting the creative and production process.

"I like it, but I already have plenty of bags."

This one isn’t “just another bag”: it’s a true work of art with a soul and a story, not a simple accessory.

Where/How are they made?

I make all my products in my workshop in the city of St Just St Rambert in the Loire department (42). I use several machines depending on needs: a professional sewing machine, an industrial sewing machine, a serger, a press (for eyelets, rivets, etc.), an iron press, and a motorized skiver.

I carefully choose my technical supplies (interfacings, hardware, etc.) and some innovative materials (such as cotton-backed cork or silicon faux leather) from trusted suppliers.

My other fabrics and materials are mostly upcycled and come from renowned babywearing brands, dormant stocks from Haute-Couture/High-End houses (clothing and furnishings), scraps from High-End leather goods houses, as well as “seconds” from specialized boutiques (especially for faux leather) or from personal collections found at flea markets or on specialized second-hand websites.
