Its story
An ode to rebirth, to remind us that even after the coldest winters, life always finds a way to be reborn and flourish. The soft colors of this piece suggest tender grass and freshly blooming trees.
I painted this silk scarf in my younger years, and it regularly found its place around my mother's neck for the 30 years that followed. Two years ago, she entrusted it to me for transformation.
A bag, a wallet, and this pouch came out of it and were put up for sale. I'm keeping the last scraps for myself, for a personal project I haven't determined yet.
Although I don't personally use pouches or handbags, this pattern, with its graceful curves and harmonious proportions, inspired me to explore this path. Moreover, it's a format that allows for the reuse of fairly small scraps while remaining entirely functional.
