Its story

“Zola en Inde” is born, a fusion of functionality and style.

When I was a child, my grandma had a subscription to the Reader's Digest and I loved the concept of guided discovery every month. So when I found an equivalent for patterns, the “Bag of the Month Club”, I was excited to embark on this adventure.

There, I discovered patterns that sometimes inspired me, such as this “Au compte-gouttes” model. It emerged as the solution to showcase this babywearing wrap fabric with its wild pattern and retro colors, waiting for a bag that matched its style.

Once I gathered quality hardware (as always!), I was able to incorporate scraps from the workshop that were yearning to be upcycled: the ends of cotton straps, pieces of upcycled synthetic leather, a scrap of washable Kraft-Tex paper...

A subtly powerful piece.

Following the same “Bag of the Month” concept, discover the “Papillons de Nuit” shoulder bag, the “Chat Alors !” mini Sling Bag, all the “Nostalgie” shoulder bags, a model only now available on full custom order, the “Ar(gen)t Déco” wallet or even the full custom Wallet I made for Marion.

Common questions

How long does it take for a custom piece?

The time it takes will greatly depend on the complexity of your request, the availability of components, and my schedule, which varies depending on the time of year. On average, expect between 4 and 10 weeks. The quote I provide will contain an accurate estimate of the timeline, and I commit to responding as accurately as possible to your requests, while respecting the creative and production process.

Where do the fabrics and leathers used in Studio Créatif pieces come from?

As a rule, these are never the fabrics you entrust to me for a bespoke piece: those remain yours alone. The only exception: sometimes a client explicitly gives me her offcuts and asks me to find them a new life elsewhere. In that specific case, and only with her agreement, they may end up in a Studio Créatif creation.

Outside of these particular cases, Studio Créatif pieces come from my own research: rescued leathers, fabrics found at flea markets or second-hand, dormant stocks from luxury houses, offcuts from high-end leather goods... I choose and combine them following my inspiration of the moment, with no specific order behind them.

Charlotte’s baby wrap

After ordering a bag from stock, Charlotte realized it would be too small. I offered to make her a custom, larger version, and she sent me her baby wrap to transform.
