I bought this babywearing wrap because its pattern and composition inspired me with their complexity and richness. It seemed like there would be many cool things to create with it, and I could expand my comfort zone by crafting a more sophisticated, more understated piece.
Before I had time to think about it, I was contacted by Alison to create a custom piece, a convertible bag... which proved to me how this wrap fabric was capable of achieving that goal.
Meanwhile, due to a change in a custom order project, I had pieces of brown leather cut for this bag model that I had already made as a âready to wearâ...
It was destiny, these materials were meant to come together and create a shoulder bag with a more classic style.
I love this traditionally âsofterâ model with its practical dimensions and very graphic cuts.
A bag that is both casual and dressy.
