Its story
A very dressy and modern piece with its wintery colors.
The body is partially made of “Krafttex”, an eco-friendly washable paper. Composed of cellulose, water, and latex, it has an appearance similar to stiff leather and develops a patina and softens over time. It's an interesting material that can be washed, ironed, painted, dyed, sewn, embroidered... and I enjoyed using it in several pieces after discovering it as an Interfacing in my favorite wallet model (“En Ville”).
The other part is made with a small, originally cherished coupon due to its blend of chic and natural features, including its high-end fibers (silk) and its stylized beehive and bees pattern.
A genuine crush for this bag model, named “Nostalgie”, to the point that I made several versions, which rarely happens. Its proportions and lines immediately won me over.
From now on, I will only make this model as a custom-made commission.
