- Exterior: Sling Studio babywearing wrap “Buzz Willoughby” (61% cotton / 30% bourette silk / 9% linen) and eco-friendly washable Krafttex paper ;
- Interior: 100% organic cotton poplin ;
- Interfacing: Decovil Light (42% polyester - 35% viscose - 23% polyamide).
Its detailed story
This piece is both very elegant and modern with its winter colors and materials that are both noble and innovative.
The body is partly made of “Krafttex”, an eco-friendly washable paper. Composed of cellulose, water, and latex, it has a leather-like appearance but stiffer and it patinas and softens over time. It's an interesting material that can be washed, ironed, painted, dyed, sewn, embroidered... and one that I enjoyed incorporating into several pieces after discovering it as an Interfacing in my favorite wallet model (the “En Ville”).
The other part is made from a scrap of the babywearing wrap used to create the matching “Nostalgie” shoulder bag, a small scrap that I initially fell in love with for its blend of elegance and naturalness, combining high-quality fibers and a stylized honeycomb and bee pattern.
