This is a bag that I almost didn't make due to a lack of inspiration (I was a pattern tester for the brand, but fortunately not the only one), despite its qualities...
Original lines, a spacious central area, multiple pockets, and a secure flap had the potential to be appealing, but inspiration cannot be commanded 🤷🏻♀️
And then, while searching in the workshop for fabric for another project, I came across this whimsical scarf that once belonged to my mom, and bam! It was obvious!!
I immediately saw that it would be well showcased on the exterior panels of this small handbag.
I also quickly realized that it would be nicely complemented by the remaining faux leather that I had randomly acquired from an amateur seamstress, and once again (as with the unicorn and its glittery white faux leather...), I didn't really know what I would do with it.
A touch of elegance with high-quality bag hardware, and it was a done deal!
