- Exterior: Portuguese cork on organic cotton canvas, combined with a 70% cotton and 30% Tencel babywearing wrap, “Pulsar Ultra Yellow Black Tencel” model from Yaro Slings ;
- Interior: 100% organic cotton poplin ;
- Interfacing: Kraft-Tex, Decovil Light (42% polyester - 35% viscose - 23% polyamide), and 100% certified organic cotton wadding.
Its detailed story
When I thrifted this babywearing wrap, I wanted to play with contrasts: between the preciousness of gold and the simplicity of charcoal, between the rich and shiny texture of the fabric and the smoother, matte texture of cork. This led to a very geometric, very straight assembly to oppose the anarchy of the pattern and materialize one last contrast.
I had a real crush on this practical wallet model, named “En Ville”, whether in its Mini version or its regular version, to the point that I made several copies, including for myself, which rarely happens.
