Its story
âBoys & Girlsâ doesnât go unnoticed, thanks to both its shape and its materials. It plays with traditional gender codes by blending them while also highlighting their contrasts: a cool tone and a warm one, smooth leather and a more textured one, silky fibers and rougher ones⌠a whole spectrum of nuances between the extremes.

It took me six months to finally start making this bagâI found it quite intimidating. The pattern was inspiring, and I wanted to approach it differently than my fellow artisans had. But I was terrified of messing it up, and there was no way to replace the materials if I did⌠Its technical complexity was both exciting and daunting.
Of course, I eventually took the plunge, and once I started, I couldnât stop until it was finished! I definitely had a few stressful moments, and those few imperfect stitches under the handle still bother me, but I learned so much. This is the most ambitious piece Iâve had the chance to create since launching my business.
In fact, I might make another one or two as I find this design truly exhilarating.
