"Intuitions" Range / Theme Nature When animal motif meets sophistication... sober and timeless colors, a wild yet discreet pattern thanks to tone-on-tone, a contrast of textures, ample space, and a sleek shape.

Its story

Animal prints are never simple; they can quickly become kitschy. But that's not necessarily a problem for me; I enjoy pushing those boundaries. Here, there was no need to worry. These scraps of high-fashion fabric with a raised tonal tiger fur motif play perfectly with those clichĂŠs and blend wonderfully with the synthetic suede with a velvety touch and the high-fashion viscose with a slightly shiny mini gingham pattern.

I acquired these different materials from a local couturier, unsure exactly how to work with them as I'm not accustomed to these kinds of patterns, but convinced of the need to expand my comfort zone. Plus, I felt like I was lacking greens in my stock...
Hil's Handmade's 33 West pattern was in need of testers, and I liked its shape and volumes, which were moreover compatible with my materials... It seemed like a great opportunity to stand out from the versions already made by my fellow testers.

In the end, the result lives up to my vision: a pretty and practical bag that can be chic or more casual depending on your outfit, making it an ideal companion.

What's the difference between the 'Cogitations' and 'Intuitions' ranges?

These two ranges reflect two different creative intentions, but share the same level of care and craftsmanship.
