A piece that breathes spring with its vibrant colors and a design combining botanical and animal elements.
I have this “Lady Bird” pattern in several variations, where both colors and textures change, and I have explored it in different pieces over time. This version seemed particularly suitable for the new season with its contrasting mix of bright pink, pure white, and sunny yellow.
The body of this pouch is made of “Pinatex”, a pineapple-based faux leather that aims to be a cleaner alternative to typical synthetics and one that I wanted to try out... but I didn't choose it for my workshop.
The lining uses the yellow color for a bright interior.
The original and clean lines of this model, along with its compact yet practical format, immediately appealed to me and even convinced me to create a version for my daily use with other materials that I hold dear.
I've since made a larger version.

- Exterior: Woven Bliss “Lady Bird Strawberry Shake” (100% cotton) and Pinatex (72% pineapple leaf fibers, 18% PLA (Polylactic Acid (corn)), 5% Bio Polyurethane, 5% Polyurethane) ;
- Interior: 100% organic cotton poplin ;
- Interfacing: 100% cotton interfacing, 100% organic cotton batting, and Decovil Light (42% polyester - 35% viscose - 23% polyamide).
This piece is based on the "Skye Crossbody Bag" pattern by Lavender & Twine.
