“Perpétuelle”  CO-129

A shoulder bag made with off-white, raspberry, orange, and coral babywearing fabric, featuring a poetic pattern of hot air balloons and dancers, and plum leather.

"Cogitations" Range / Collection Memory This piece is laden with emotions, as it speaks of lost friendship and unfinished dreams. Its shape reminds me of a hug, the one I wish I could give to my friend who left us too soon. Its colors are among her favorites, and she loved the poetic and dreamlike motif of the flap's fabric. I wanted/needed to pay tribute to her.

Its story

This piece is laden with emotions, as it speaks of lost friendship and unfinished dreams. Its shape reminds me of a hug, the one I wish I could give to my friend who left us too soon. Its colors are among her favorites, and she loved the poetic and dreamlike motif of the flap's fabric. I wanted/needed to pay tribute to her.

I had found the leather in the dormant stocks of the luxury industry for a custom-made order for which it was not ultimately chosen in favor of others selected on the same day, so it had been waiting for its opportunity since then. Given the richness of its color and texture, soft and smooth, I knew it would be exceptional. I assembled the scraps to reach the necessary size.
For the lining, the handle, and the strap, I took out extremely soft pure linen cushion covers whose color matched perfectly with the rest.

I knew that with this pattern that had caught my eye several months earlier, I had an alliance that would do her honor. I genuinely think she would have liked this bag.

Common questions

How can I track my order?

You will receive an email upon shipment containing the tracking number and a link. Of course, you can contact me at any time if you have questions.

"I like it, but I already have plenty of bags."

This one isn’t “just another bag”: it’s a true work of art with a soul and a story, not a simple accessory.

Why are there "Near-Perfect" items and what are they?

As part of my sustainable view of the modern luxury fashion, creating as little waste as possible is central. You can learn more about this on my Soulful Values page.

Where/How are they made?

I make all my products in my workshop in the city of St Just St Rambert in the Loire department (42). I use several machines depending on needs: a professional sewing machine, an industrial sewing machine, a serger, a press (for eyelets, rivets, etc.), an iron press, and a motorized skiver.

I carefully choose my technical supplies (interfacings, hardware, etc.) and some innovative materials (such as cotton-backed cork or silicon faux leather) from trusted suppliers.

My other fabrics and materials are mostly upcycled and come from renowned babywearing brands, dormant stocks from Haute-Couture/High-End houses (clothing and furnishings), scraps from High-End leather goods houses, as well as “seconds” from specialized boutiques (especially for faux leather) or from personal collections found at flea markets or on specialized second-hand websites.

Find out more about this on the Soulful Values page.

Charlotte’s baby wrap

After ordering a bag from stock, Charlotte realized it would be too small. I offered to make her a custom, larger version, and she sent me her baby wrap to transform.
