Its story

Imagine a starry night in a bamboo grove, with twinkling lights filtering through the leaves... Chic yet playful!
I wanted to create a bag that felt “soft” to the touch with more “neutral” colors while keeping a whimsical twist. So, I paired a richly composed baby wrap fabric with boiled wool.
Initially, the underside was supposed to be made from the same material, but over time, I came across a piece of glitter-textured leather with an intriguing, almost rugged feel. It turned out to be the perfect addition, adding the contrast I love incorporating into my creations.

When this pattern was released, I wasn’t entirely sold on the smaller version, which I ended up making first to complete the “Madras” collection... But I must admit, both versions are equally compelling, albeit for different reasons!
This one is more versatile, with its dual carrying options and practical interior storage. I’ve grown fond of integrated card slots and decided to include them here too.

With clean lines, a practical size, and high-quality materials, this bag is ready to be your stylish everyday companion.

Common questions

Why are there "Near-Perfect" items and what are they?

As part of my sustainable view of the modern luxury fashion, creating as little waste as possible is central. You can learn more about this on my Soulful Values page.

What's the difference between the 'Cogitations' and 'Intuitions' ranges?

These two ranges reflect two different creative intentions, but share the same level of care and craftsmanship.

Cogitations: these pieces carry something. They illustrate a reflection, stand for an idea, can spark a conversation. Feminism, heritage, ecology, identity... When you wear a Cogitations piece, you're making a statement — sometimes subtly, sometimes very clearly.

Intuitions: these pieces exist for pure pleasure. A colour that vibrates, a texture that draws you in, a graphic tension that knows how to stay elegant. No declared message — just the feeling. Guaranteed to give you a little thrill.

In both cases, I only create what I feel a genuine need to bring into the world. Not to please everyone: to speak to someone. Maybe you.

What do you do with your production offcuts?

Your own bespoke fabric offcuts aren't covered here: they're always sent back to you with your finished piece, unless you tell me to keep them or dispose of them differently.

As for my own production offcuts: nothing is thrown away if I can help it. They're reused in my workshop for reinforcement, worked into mosaics to create larger pieces, or used as is for small creations (keychains, bookmarks...). The rest is given away depending on its nature and size: to other artisans (such as jewellery makers), or to associations, community centres and schools for their workshops.

What are the delivery timeframes?

All orders (excluding custom orders) are shipped within 24 hours (excl. week-ends and public holidays). The delivery time then depends on the chosen shipping method (Mondial Relay or Colissimo) and the delivery location (France or abroad). Delays may occur due to reasons beyond my control (e.g., related to the carrier).

Charlotte’s baby wrap

After ordering a bag from stock, Charlotte realized it would be too small. I offered to make her a custom, larger version, and she sent me her baby wrap to transform.
