Its story

Enters “Casual Chic”, the embodiment of a successful partnership, of a powerful and balanced play of contrasts. I'm beyond excited offering this new piece to you.

The first time I saw this pattern I knew I had to have it and make it, even though I didn't know yet with what. I did know it would be versatile (and in fact I have another idea for it, later), allowing for very different “atmospheres”.
I also loved all the nifty details it offered: wide flap with a turnlock for a secure and classy closure, sophisticated french seams on the side, snap ties to widen/narrow the opening...

I've been using this haute-couture denim end of roll sparingly over the last two years and love to pair it with contrasting (in color, texture, style...) materials.
I bought the silver-dotted leftover in a pack from a fellow seamstress, and was a bit flummoxed by what to do with it when it arrived.

But as with all my materials, they both ended up talking to me... quite adamantly as it happens, and this cute yet classy pattern was what they wanted to be paired in.
I obliged, made it structured, as it clamored to be, and added a surprise pop of color inside for that bit of pick-me-up fun we all need during the day.

Take it to a decisive meeting, to a fancy restaurant date or for a short weekend getaway.
Pair it with a suit, a dress or a pair of jeans. It will support your style and make YOU stand out.

Charlotte’s baby wrap

After ordering a bag from stock, Charlotte realized it would be too small. I offered to make her a custom, larger version, and she sent me her baby wrap to transform.
