- Interfacing: 100% cotton interfacing, Decovil Light (42% polyester - 35% viscose - 23% polyamide), and Jeffytex.
Its detailed story
This piece breathes spring with its tangy colors and floral pattern. I wanted something sparkling and cheerful, round and plump, to evoke both the sweetness of cherries and the exoticism of citrus fruits.
A few months ago, I stumbled upon a second-hand upholstery fabric, a vintage leather jacket, and iridescent red linen cushion covers. I knew right away that they were meant to go together. When crafting them into a small handbag with a tubular frame, I ran into an issue with one of the panels, which I set aside to avoid wasting it while I figured out how to use it.
Much later, this mini "bowler" pattern came at just the right time, and this mistake turned into a happy accident.
That's how this cute, fresh little bag was born, sure to make you smile—and everyone around you too!
