"Intuitions" Range / Theme Nature A piece that evokes innocence and freedom with its soft colors and avian motif. Lines that are both simple and sophisticated, practical volume with its numerous pockets.

Its story

This piece is intended to evoke innocence and freedom with its soft colors highlighted by its avian motif and velvety textures.

I fell in love with this ultra-soft baby blanket in terms of touch, motif, and colors. I quickly knew that these scraps of this beautiful lamb leather with a satin texture, from Haute Couture, would be its perfect companion. I then looked for a pattern that could do justice to this duo.

When the opportunity for a new collective “mystery sewing”, a different and exciting challenge, presented itself (after that of the Shoulder Bag “Mosaïque - Alchimie”), I knew it would be the answer.
Starting, I didn't know what the final result would look like, as the pattern pieces and assembly steps were revealed to us bit by bit every 5 days. But I knew the result would be worthy of these materials.

That's how “Perruches” was born, a chic and functional bag that brings a touch of tenderness and lightness to a busy day.

Why are there "Near-Perfect" items and what are they?

Where/How are they made?

I make all my products in my workshop in the city of St Just St Rambert in the Loire department (42). I use several machines depending on needs: a professional sewing machine, an industrial sewing machine, a serger, a press (for eyelets, rivets, etc.), an iron press, and a motorized skiver.

I carefully choose my technical supplies (interfacings, hardware, etc.) and some innovative materials (such as cotton-backed cork or silicon faux leather) from trusted suppliers.

My other fabrics and materials are mostly upcycled and come from renowned babywearing brands, dormant stocks from Haute-Couture/High-End houses (clothing and furnishings), scraps from High-End leather goods houses, as well as “seconds” from specialized boutiques (especially for faux leather) or from personal collections found at flea markets or on specialized second-hand websites.
