“Vive la France !”  CO-165

A double zippered pouch sewn from several babywearing wrap scraps (blue and red) and white faux leather.

"Cogitations" Range / Collection Memory A subtle tribute to France, beyond any partisan approach. A pouch that will accompany you everywhere, either in your bag or directly in your hand.

Its story

When I found this pattern, I initially thought of playing with the tricolor theme but decided to hold off and first test it in a “natural” version released in May 2024 (“Appel de la Forêt”).

This confirmed that I love this model, surprising with its functional but discreet volumes, which will accompany you in your hand or in your bag.

After the “Le Lys” Shoulder Bag to match it with, I took great pleasure in playing again with the blue-white-red assembly from babywearing wrap scraps from my adventures with my eldest, finding a super stylish lining, and adding small tricolor details... all intended as a subtle tribute to the colors of France, beyond any partisan approach.

Charlotte’s baby wrap

After ordering a bag from stock, Charlotte realized it would be too small. I offered to make her a custom, larger version, and she sent me her baby wrap to transform.

Common questions

"I love it, but I’m afraid it won’t be easy to wear"
A bold piece often becomes your signature.
It pairs beautifully with a simple outfit and naturally draws compliments. I can also share styling ideas if you’d like.
What's the difference between the 'Cogitations' and 'Intuitions' ranges?

These two ranges reflect two different creative intentions, but share the same level of care and craftsmanship.

Cogitations: these pieces carry something. They illustrate a reflection, stand for an idea, can spark a conversation. Feminism, heritage, ecology, identity... When you wear a Cogitations piece, you're making a statement — sometimes subtly, sometimes very clearly.

Intuitions: these pieces exist for pure pleasure. A colour that vibrates, a texture that draws you in, a graphic tension that knows how to stay elegant. No declared message — just the feeling. Guaranteed to give you a little thrill.

In both cases, I only create what I feel a genuine need to bring into the world. Not to please everyone: to speak to someone. Maybe you.

What are the delivery timeframes?
All orders (excluding custom orders) are shipped within 24 hours (excl. week-ends). The delivery time then depends on the chosen shipping method (Mondial Relay or Colissimo) and the delivery location (France or abroad). Delays may occur due to reasons beyond my control (e.g., related to the carrier).
What do you do with your production offcuts?

Your own bespoke fabric offcuts aren't covered here: they're always sent back to you with your finished piece, unless you tell me to keep them or dispose of them differently.

As for my own production offcuts: nothing is thrown away if I can help it. They're reused in my workshop for reinforcement, worked into mosaics to create larger pieces, or used as is for small creations (keychains, bookmarks...). The rest is given away depending on its nature and size: to other artisans (such as jewellery makers), or to associations, community centres and schools for their workshops.
