Alison is a textile artist who works with small scraps of baby wraps to create colorful and original artworks.
I had commissioned a piece from her using scraps from a friend we lost the previous year (a friend who had planned to contact her before passing unexpectedly). Alison went further by creating several pieces for each of her children (ensuring no one was left out), all free of charge, moved by their story.

I absolutely wanted to thank her, so I suggested an exchange of skills: mine for hers, through the creation of a custom-made piece using her sentimental materials.
She chose a shoulder bag model and sent me a baby wrap and lining fabric, both inspired by the Lord of the Rings universe.
We selected a faux leather in a fun complementary shade and gold hardware for a chic touch, and I got to work.

Success on arrival:

It's here and it's amazing I absolutely love it!!! [...] It looks amazing thank you 💜💜 [...] My purse goes so well with it 💜👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Stéphanie's heart-stopper

Stephanie fell in love with a bag I'd shown her in a discussion around an online LinkedIn challenge, and decided to get one made in her favorite colors for Christmas. After choosing the materials from my stock together, I quickly made it so she'd have it in time under the tree. This fun and exciting collaboration resulted in this daring and classy shoulder bag.

Every project is approved step by step with a detailed quote, photos, and regular updates.
Nothing is started without your agreement, ensuring a result that meets your expectations.
Can my textile really be transformed?
Most materials (leather, wool, babywearing wraps, a loved one’s clothing, sports jerseys or activewear, baby clothes and comfort toys, a wedding dress or suit…) can be reused.
During the call, I clearly tell you what is feasible, or not.
"Your style is very distinctive. Will it really feel like mine?"
