A tribute to my favorite restaurant, reflecting its refined Occitan cuisine full of contrasts. A chic and functional bag that leaves no one indifferent.

Matériaux

  • Exterior: Upcycled upholstery fabric (composition unknown) and upcycled leathers (sheepskin and cowhide) ;
  • Interior: 100% silk satin and 100% acetate satin ;
  • Interfacing: 100% cotton interfacing, Decovil Light (42% polyester - 35% viscose - 23% polyamide), and Decovil Heavy.

Son histoire en détail

I designed this piece as a tribute to this restaurant that I have been visiting regularly for the past 3 years with my mom, reflecting its refined Occitan cuisine full of contrasts.

The shape subtly evokes the venue's totem animal, and the colors are reminiscent of its walls. The Occitan cross has been delicately embossed in trompe-l'oeil on one of the faces.
The materials used are noble and sourced from upcycling: 100% natural leather jacket and skirt, 100% silk satin from dormant stocks of a haute couture house (Sonia Rykiel)...

In the end, it's a chic and functional bag that doesn't leave anyone indifferent.
